STEP 02 — WHY PENSARA
What Makes Working With Us Different
We are not advisers, solicitors, or financial planners. We are experienced organisers and educators who believe that being well-prepared — at your own pace — makes a real difference.
No Rush, Ever
Sessions move at your pace. Nothing is skipped and nothing is assumed. We take as long as needed for each step to feel clear.
Plain English Throughout
We explain things in straightforward words. If a term needs unpacking, we unpack it before moving on — no unexplained jargon left behind.
Organisational, Not Advisory
We help with documents and information, not personal decisions. You remain in full control, and we always point you to the right official body when formal guidance is needed.
Based in Chiang Mai
We are here in the city, familiar with the local context. Sessions take place in a calm, comfortable setting on Huay Kaew Road, easy to reach from across the district.
You Leave With Something Tangible
Every session includes printed materials — checklists, summaries, or filing guides — so you have a reference you can come back to without relying on memory.
Respectful Across All Backgrounds
We work with people from many countries and walks of life. There are no embarrassing questions here — everyone starts somewhere, and we welcome all starting points.
STEP 03 — GET STARTED
Would You Like a Quiet Conversation First?
There is no obligation and no pressure. You are welcome to send a message or call us to ask what any of our sessions involve before deciding whether they are right for you.
STEP 04 — COMMON QUESTIONS
Things People Often Ask
If your question is not here, please do get in touch — we are happy to answer anything.
What exactly does Pensara do?
Pensara helps individuals and households organise and understand their retirement-related records and paperwork. We do not offer financial advice, legal counsel, or official guidance — we are an educational and organisational support service. We explain how documents generally work, help you build checklists and filing systems, and always point you to the appropriate official bodies for formal matters.
Do I need to have my documents ready before coming?
Not at all. The Document Checklist Walkthrough is specifically designed for people who are starting from a pile of unsorted papers — or who are not sure what they have. You simply bring what you have, and we work through it together at a calm pace.
Are the group sessions suitable for people with no background in finance or pensions?
Yes, entirely. The sessions are written and delivered for people who simply want to understand what they are looking at — not for those with any prior knowledge. We use everyday language and a glossary is provided so that no term is left unclear.
How long do the sessions take?
The one-to-one Document Checklist Walkthrough typically takes two to three hours, depending on how many documents you bring. Group Learning Sessions are spread across a short series. The Household Records Organisation Programme involves multiple visits over several weeks, scheduled at whatever intervals work best for you.
Can family members join any of the sessions?
Yes. The Household Records Organisation Programme is specifically designed to involve family members in the process, and we can prepare a family briefing document as part of the programme. For other sessions, you are welcome to bring a spouse or adult family member at no extra cost.
Where do sessions take place?
One-to-one and group sessions take place at our office at 64 Huay Kaew Road, Chang Phueak, Chiang Mai. For the Household Records Organisation Programme, some visits may take place at your home if that is more practical — we can discuss this when you get in touch.
What are the prices, and is there anything else I should know before booking?
The Document Checklist Walkthrough is ฿4,000. Group Learning Sessions are ฿13,800 per person. The Household Records Organisation Programme is ฿31,900. All prices are in Thai Baht and include the printed materials described in each session. Payment is settled at the start of the first session. There are no hidden costs. We are happy to answer any questions before you decide.
